1. ABOUT

DirectConnect is an application that allows one way data transfer from the Code CR2700 to a Windows PC without using an A271 base or a dongle. DirectConnect can also replicate the Quick Connect Code printed on an A271 base or dongle for ease of use and can be paired with an SDK example code to integrate into software.

The application can work in three different modes; the user will choose which mode to install during installation.

• Bluetooth Keyboard - Used to easily connect a CR2700 to a Windows PC as a Bluetooth Keyboard device.
• Bluetooth BaseStation - Replicates the Quick Connect Code printed on the A271 base or dongle to the Windows PC screen.
• BLE App Mode - Used in conjunction with SDK software to integrate a non-keyboard CR2700 connected to a Windows PC without using an A271 base or dongle.
